Standard warnings re:Slaanesh apply. If the critical tables blowing people’s limbs off seem okay to you but recognizing that prostitution exists is a bridge too far, you will want to give this post a miss.

Winter Estates
We’re visiting the rich part of town in Winter Estates as we come towards the end of the Brandt’s Landing urbancrawl. We still haven’t decided exactly what we’ll focus on after this, so this will be an adventure for everyone.
East Vale
Today we’re in East Vale, rounding out the poorest parts of town. Tomorrow we’ll look at the parts of Brandt’s Landing that don’t suck so much to live in.
Fireside Downs
Now that we’ve committed ourselves to doing just one slice of the project until it’s done, it’s getting a little hard to figure out what to say about it for the intro. “You know that thing we said we’d do? We’re doing it.”
Winter Harbour
We’re going to post up the rest of Brandt’s Landing over the next few days so that it can be used as an entirety, and not just with individual bits ripped out to be used as individual encounters in other locations. Those who remember Chaos Landing know this place has seven neighborhoods and we’ve gone through Wrenwrick Crik already, so now we’re at Winter Harbour.
Wrenwrick Crik
We’re going through regular old Brandt’s Landing, now, the Materium version. As with some of the Chaos Landing entries, a content warning here that Brandt’s Landing is under the influence of a Slaanesh cult and it’s not shy about the fact. People in this post are described as both naked and grotesquely maimed. You have been warned.
The Nurgle Fly Cultist
Deep within the jungles of Vestitas, a Nurgle cultist breeds both plagues and the insects to carry them. He hasn’t had a whole lot of success so far. The plague has only temporary effects on humans but kills its carriers stone-dead within a few days. Still he continues his work to create a superbug that shall spread across the continent.
Urbancrawling
Some hexes in both Thar and Vestitas are occupied by cities. These cities have far too much going on in them to be portrayed as a single encounter, but dungeon crawl mechanics rarely work for them. Even Chaos Landing in Vestitas is a dungeon attached to Brandt’s Landing, not the entirety of the content in Brandt’s Landing. Urbancrawls are how you find out about and subsequently solve whatever troubles a city is facing within its walls. We’re giving the D&D 5e version used for the Thar cities of Thentia, Hulburg, and so on, but the Dark Heresy 2 rules are very similar.
The Hidden Estate
Today’s encounter is with a mad spire noble who abandoned the hive of his upbringing to seclude himself in a relatively small and sparsely populated estate in the colonial countryside of Vestitas Antiqua, to be alone with his perverse obsessions.
Magical Girl RPG
So, we have two different release schedules. Regular blog readers get this post on April 1st, but contributors to our Patreon get it March 25th. So, we can’t really do an April Fool’s joke, even if we could find a way to make April Fool’s fresh and interesting after two decades of online media snatching all the low-hanging, middle-hanging, and probably most of the high-hanging fruit. All of this to say that no, this isn’t a prank. This is a real, actual project that one of our contributors happened to have most of the way finished and decided to finish up and release it. We don’t consider this important enough to go to the trouble of formatting it and turning it into a .pdf that’s less of a nightmare to navigate, but if there’s a lot of demand for it, we’ll reconsider.
