You can guess from the title that we’re in Vestitas again. This time, in a remote hex on the eastern fringe of Imperial territory there is a lone and lonely Nurgle cultist who seeks to trade the PCs to papa plagues in exchange for having his dead family reanimated as zombies. Surviving the encounter isn’t difficult, but getting rid of the hideous plagues that might be inflicted upon you along the way can prove more challenging. Special bad luck to those who contract Creeping Buboes, which might claim your life long after the fight with the Nurgle cultist is gone. On the other hand, this encounter’s confrontation is one of the easiest to circumvent entirely, provided you’re nosy and/or paranoid.

Ogres of Thar
In addition to orcs, Thar also contains rather a lot of ogres. The number of new statblocks needed isn’t quite as steep because the ogres commonly have orcs or goblinoids as minions, which lends itself some variety on its own, so here are three new statblocks, one of them unique to the Crystal Sphere Tribe of ogres. After this we’ll have all the new stat blocks we’ll need for the hexcrawl, so we’ll be getting back into encounters.
The Musician
Another Vestitas encounter, this one concerning a daemon of Slaanesh with an entire town enthralled to their will.
More Orcs of Thar
Rounding out our new orcs from previous, these three new monsters are from specific tribes with distinct cultures from the usual orc fare.
The Banshee
Here we have another Vestitas encounter. This one takes place within the Imperial territory of the map, and concerns a vengeful sorceress who is slowly slaughtering the town’s rulership one by one.
The Plant’s Heart
Today we have more Vestitas. Specifically, another encounter deep within the Chaos-corrupted jungles at the northern edge of the map.
New Orc Statblocks
There are an awful lot of orcs in Thar. If you are going to crawl through all the hexes in that particular location, you will fight a very large number of orcs. The default four orc stat blocks aren’t really enough to maintain interest throughout this prodigiously large amount of orc fighting, which means that whipping up a couple of new orcs has been necessary. These are those new orcs.
The Eye Daemon
Another Vestitas hex encounter. This one concerns a town deep in the Chaos-controlled parts of the region, ruled over by a daemon who literally has eyes everywhere.
The Trolls’ Den
We’re throwing up another bit of the Thar hexcrawl today, this one the lair of some trolls in the foothills of the Galena Mountains, right at the edge of the moors.
The Nomads of the Ride
Changing things up today, we have content from the Thar hexcrawl, taking place in the moors on the Moonsea in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting, and which we’re hoping to clean up into a .pdf and release onto the DMs Guild. This encounter includes the nomads of the Ride which borders on Thar, and who are at war with the Manslayer orcs.
